Regenerative Braking - What's new that is old.
Regenerative is a braking system used in hybrids- but it's not new it was in use in trolly cars a century ago. It takes energy normally wasted during braking and turns it into usable energy by reversing the motor and converting it to a generator during braking and coasting. Why isn't this the norm in braking systems today?
This blog aims to extend renewable energy and energy conservation information, ideas, resources, and networks to Canadian Farmers. We wish to facilitate successful energy business decisions.
I'm counting down to a quarter century since graduating from U of G. Since Guelph I have been involved in several diverse areas including chemicals, crop insurance,
communications and consulting. 3 years ago I worked with a team looking at financing strategies for renewable energy projects for farmers and food processors. Big lessons learned - the need to create awareness, netork and build relationships in this emerging industry. For me communicating and networking with farmers and industry about renewable energy and conservation means the merging of many passions. To help move this along at cyber speed -Julie the blogger is born.
